Are you on Instagram?

Rediscovering painting has been incredibly fun these past months, but now I get to share it by making my own Christmas cards! Cards and paint everywhere! My dining table may be a mess but my heart is full of J O Y!
Another seasonal botanic shot. These are Southern Magnolia pods in their full glory - they don’t last long before the squirrels get to them! 🐿
Ever heard of using a crystal ball in photography? Me neither! Can someone tell me if this was something that was really trendy perhaps back in the 80s that went out of style?! 😂 My father in-law passed it along and thought I may enjoy using it in my photography and you know what? I did!! My boys also had a blast playing around with it and seeing themselves upside down 🙃🙂🙃 swipe for the original 👈🏻
There’s no denying that this season brings me alive! I have a million and one creative ideas floating around in my head - yet I’m learning to be content with not having to make every one of them a business venture!! Rather, enjoying discovery, developing artistic processes and sharing it with the world in the hope that others too are struck with awe over creation (and ‘ohhh-aaahhh’ over bokeh!)

A simple autumn portrait of this little bright eyes 🍁
Every morning on our drive to school we drive down some of the most beautiful streets lined with an impressive display of trees. We’ve watched them change color everyday for the past month and this morning we noticed there seemed to be a carpet of leaves following the entire route. So grateful for changing seasons! . . #jj_tenn127
